About Us
Building the foundations of reliable software
Ficus is an engineering project about clarity, precision and growth. We design systems that endure —and the architectures that make progress sustainable.

Who We Are
Ficus is a technical framework —and a way of thinking about software.
We design backends that grow with the product, not against it.
Our goal is to make stability and scalability accesible from day one, because building reliable systems shouldn't feel like walking around the world on foot.
We believe that great systems are not improvised —they are cultivated.
Our Principles
Our values shape everything we do at Xtract. From innovation to integrity, we’re committed to building AI solutions that empower businesses and drive real impact.
Full transparency
From logs to pipelines, everything leaves a trace. Auditable systems are the foundation of long-term trust.
Reproducible simplicity
Complex systems can be simple —if they can be rebuilt from scratch with no surprises. That's our definition of elegance.
Autonomy with alignment
Each module evolves independently but follows a shared abstraction model. That's how we scale withput entropy.
Evidence before intuition
Decisions should follow data, tests, and measurable outcomes —not fashion or hype.
Collaboration
We grow through shared understanding, not bureaucracy. Knowledge flow beats hierarchy.

About the Founder
We bring together technology and strategy to create smarter automation solutions.
Ficus was created by Daniel Farré, a backend architect and engineer with a background in physics and mathematical modelling.
After years of building production systems for companies like Telefónica, Stuart, and several AI startups,
he decided to turn his best engineering practices — modular design, CI/CD, and auditability — into a reusable framework.
Daniel believes software should be simple, measurable, and durable —
not just code that runs, but systems that can be trusted to evolve.
